People always ask me… ‘Why did you get a tattoo on your head? Aren’t you concerned about getting hired for a job, going on dates, or what people may think of you overall? Aren’t you worried about how you may look when you get older with tattoos all over your body?’ and my honest reply… ‘I became HIV + at age 10 from being sexually abused, I’m now turning 26 years old this year, and finally getting on HIV meds for the first time in one more week. So in the past 16 years I have been through a great deal of pain emotionally and physically, beat up by society because they thought I was a waste of life already. I guess you can say that’s why I haven’t really cared to have a boyfriend or concern myself with getting hired at a job, and definitely not hiding under the covers at night, because if there is one thing I have learned, life is so fucking short, so I’m going to live it the way want too. Oh and FYI… I’m going to look fucking amazing when I’m old with grey hair and a tight yoga body with tattoos dripping all over me.’
